A readers theater production of “A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens, will benefit the Machias Area Food Pantry this holiday season. Everyone is invited to the production at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 8, at Centre Street Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, in downtown Machias.

Donations will be accepted at the door, with all proceeds going to the food pantry.
