A recent career change led Kelly Hinkle back to fishing with his father and once last year’s traps were put away for the winter, Hinkle found time to return to his childhood love of writing. This March, he published his first children’s book, inspired by his son and his love of Downeast Maine. Hinkle listed Maddox the Moose on Amazon, expecting one or two copies to sell the first day.
