Kimbley Marie Davis (Gray)
July 6, 1973 -- April 10, 2020

On Friday, April 10, 2020, Kimbley Marie Davis, 46, passed away at her home in Addison. She was born July 6, 1973, in Machias, the daughter of Rose Denny and Bobby Gray of Jonesport.

Kimbley graduated from Jonesport-Beals High School, Class of 1991. Shortly after graduating she met and married the love of her life, Peter Davis, with whom she had three children, Amber, Kyle, and Cody. She went back to school to get her Associates Degree in Small Business Management at the University of Maine at Machias, Class of 2005. Kimbley worked at Arnold Memorial Medical Center in billing for several years. She then worked at Down East Community Hospital in the Billing Department for a couple of years. Lastly, she worked for the Town of Addison as Town Clerk/Treasurer/Tax Collector, where she was truly happy.

Kimbley had a one-of-a-kind laugh that always made others laugh. Her smile could light up a room. She had an enormous heart and always put others before herself. Kimbley's greatest joy was her family and friends. She loved getting together for holidays, birthdays, and family dinners. Her best friend was her daughter, Amber Rose. Her pride and joy and apples of her eye were her two grandchildren, Autumn and Hudson. She tremendously enjoyed camping all spring and summer in the field at her in-laws, Linda and Obbie, with her husband, kids, and grandchildren among other family and friends who wanted to pop in and visit. As long as the flag was up all were welcome.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her loving family; her husband, Peter Davis of Addison; daughter, Amber Davis and fiance Dustin of Addison; sons, Kyle Davis and fiancee Kathryn of Addison and Cody Davis of Addison;  grandchildren, Autumn and Hudson Robinson of Addison; father,  Robert Gray and wife Susan of Addison; mother, Rose Denny and husband Stevie of Addison; mother and father in-law, Linda and Obbie Davis of Addison; sisters, Bobbie Sue Gray of Addison,  Elizabeth Stover of Addison,  Kayli Gray of Addison,  Gisele Denny and fiance Chris and family of Machias,  Angela Farren and husband Bruce and family of Addison; sisters in-law, Amanda Aube and husband Damien of Vermont and Samantha Smith and husband Frank of Jonesport; a grandmother, Elanor Kilton and friend Doug Stanhope (Dougie-Boy) of Jonesport; Aunt Georgianna Hatt and family of Harrington, Aunt Pebbie and Uncle Ralph Smith of Jonesport,  Aunt Pat and Uncle Roland Alley (Tee Tee and Bubba) and family of Sorrento, Aunt Patricia Ross and family of Ellsworth,  Aunt Renee and Uncle Tom Young of Cherryfield;  Uncle Kevin and Aunt Pam Grant and family of Belgrade,  Uncle Tim and Aunt Sherrie Grant and family of South Carolina, Aunt Valerie and Uncle Phillip Worcester and family of Columbia Falls, Aunt Vickie and Uncle Glenn Garnett and family of Addison, Aunt Wanda Davis of Hampden;  nieces and nephews, Aleah Stover and Drius Taylor of Addison,  Chelsea Aube and Addison Aube of Vermont, Carol Smith and Tyler Smith of Jonesport; a cousin, Tracy Merchant and husband Derek of Jonesport; and numerous other friends and family members.
