Wild Blueberry Dome Opening Doors for 2024 Season

Now known as the Wild Blueberry Heritage Center, the iconic “blueberry dome” of Downeast Maine is opening its doors for the season on Thursday, June 27. Owners and wild blueberry growers Dell and Marie Emerson founded the 501c3 nonprofit in 2017 with the mission to provide a deeper understanding of the history, science, and culture of Maine’s 10,000-year-old wild blueberry ecosystem.
