Perhaps one of the strangest stories about a cemetery was found in a little booklet entitled “A Brief History of Cutler and Some Interesting Incidents,” written in 1976 by the late Jasper Cates and Arlene Dennison.

Hidden, almost forgotten, in this record on a gravestone in the old Cutler cemetery is one of the strangest and most touching events in Cutler’s history.
