Ray Renolds, 88, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away suddenly on December 1, 2019. He was born August 19, 1931, in Machias, to Ray and Cora Reynolds.
He received a diploma from Barbara College in Lewiston in 1968. He served for 14 years in the Army and Air Force. He was also a member of The Grange.
He had a passion for racing horses that started in 1974 and was actively involved until he was 82 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Meredith of Zephyrhills, Florida and Maine; his two sisters, Peggy Burt of Mapleton, Utah and Nadine Pidwell of Graham, North Carolina; a daughter, Muriel, her husband Steve and their son Ryan of Livermore.
He is also survived by a nephew, Chris Reynolds and his family of Calais.
