Quoddy League remembered

Memories from the once popular Quoddy Baseball League are gradually fading away as the years fly by.

The 1950s might have been the best decade for men’s town team baseball following the war years.

During that decade, the Dixie Eagles, Jonesboro Jets and Eastport Lobsters were the three most competitive teams.

Lubec was once the baseball capital of Washington County.
