A new pet store aptly named Maine’s Best Friend has opened up in Milbridge at 1 Main Street. It has been open for nearly a month. I caught up with owner Heather Albright and her daughter Maya and found out all about their new store. 

“I always wanted to open up a pet store,” said Heather Albright, of Milbridge. “It has been my dream for a long time. I saw there was a need. I couldn't even get a cat pan. I had to go all the way to Ellsworth. Maybe my dream could happen here. I always wanted to be a part of the community.”
