The Maine Blackfly Breeders are pleased to report that they were able to resume donations to area nonprofits this fall, thanks to sales at the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival in August. The festival, which was on hold for two years because of Covid-19, is the MBBA’s principal fundraising venue, and this year’s sales allowed the blackfly’s most ardent champions to help local organizations.
