Local ghost stories provide ample goosebumps for Halloween

Mention the Black’s Woods road to a group of locals, and without fail, someone will warn you not to cross it at night. True, Route 182 twists and winds its way up and down a steep mountain before curving around Fox Pond, just inches from the water.  

But it’s not the terrain they’re warning you about. It’s the ghost.
