Badges, Sand, Picnic Tables Top Beals Board Meeting
Seen here are the new stone steps leading to the small beach in Backfield Park on Beals Island. The contractor for the project was Luke Hunkler's company, Downeast Land & Tree. The steps were paid for by a FEMA grant following the January 2024 storms. Railings for the steps are also planned. (Glenda Beal photo)
