Angler Joe Robbins Honored in Boat Launch Dedication Ceremony
Family and friends of the late Joe Robbins gathered on a rainy Sunday afternoon recently to honor the man who tirelessly fought for Atlantic Salmon restoration Downeast. Robbins’ widow, Gretchen, was presented with a road sign renaming the Gaddis Pool Park boat launch after her husband. The Joe Robbins Public Boat Launch can be found next to Bold Coast Coffee in East Machias along Route 1. (Marianne Moore photo)
