Downeasters Survive Juno

While New Yorkers and residents from other Atlantic Seaboard states were spared one of the nation’s worst blizzards in decades, New Englanders took a direct hit.  

Though the National Weather Service reported that the storm had not lived up to its reputation, “rapidly deepening winter storms are very challenging to predict,” said the service., The entire seaboard in the meantime hunkered down, believing the old adage “better safe than sorry” as driving bans and states of emergency were levied in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
